Blues Beat Magazine - Boogieman

Finally, OTBP received another CD from the Polish blues label Omerta - Art from a band called Coolish Blues Session antitled Boogieman. All 15 of the songs are sung in Polish, so I didn't understand a word, but the groove laid down by basist Marek Drobny, drummer Błażej Chwieralski, guitarist/singer/harmonica/kazooist Adam Kulisz and Wojciech Smorąg (not sure what he plays) is pretty decent in the classic shufle sound. There are 15 cuts on this disc, including the title track, Hello Mr. Blues and 13 more.

Soul Bag - Boogieman

La coomunaute europeenne du blues existe, pulsque les disques suivants viennent de Pologne, Belgique, Suede, Norvege et Danemark.
Le groupe polonais Boogieman (Coolish Blues Session sic!) pratique une musique bien balancee, chantee en polonais, ne comprenant que des originaux, oscillant entre un blues rock sobre et un coctail blues muscle, plaisant et efficace comme sur Blues Kubusia Puchatka. A noter l'excellent travail de Adam Kulisz a la guitare et Wojciech Smorąg au piano.
